Needlessly difficult to mount on any rim. Buy the Vittoria trainer tire or just use a cheap, thick clincher tire such as a Fyxation or the like.

Before this trainer-specific tire I was using old road tires but they wore out pretty fast and sprinkled little flecks of rubber all over the floor. This Conti is made of some interesting compound that doesn't seem to heat up at all even after spinning on the trainer for over an hour. I think this will probably outlast a dozen or more regular road tires. Only downside is that it is slippery to get on the rim. Oh, and only 4 stars because it's kinda spendy.

Plenty of miles on it, and easily lots of life left

I use this tire when using my CompuTrainer - both 'regular' training (tempo) and Zwift races (high intensity). Several hundred miles on it so far with no problems.

Very hard to mount and not many hours of use maybe 30 before it deformed and had bad issues, I had more longer use out of old used road tires

I've tried a few indoor training tires and this one is the best.

When I first got an indoor trainer, I went with a cheap, low TPI outdoor tire. That worked for a while but eventually started disintegratng from the inside out and the wire in the casing rubbed the tube. I tried a different one and that didn't last half as long. I bit the bullet and bought the Conti Trainer tire and am sorry I didn't do it sooner. It's tough to get on partially because the surface over the bead is so slippery. But it works great and doesn't really wear because the metal drum on the trainer is very smooth. Great product that I recommend and will buy again.
