This tire works well in this wet and cold area of Superior, WI. They grip very well!

I ride approximately 150 miles per week on these tires. Asphalt bike lanes, canal paths, gravel paths and roads. After approximately 1,300 miles I've had one flat. This was caused by a pop rivet that went through the tire and tube. Run approximately 85 of air in each tire. Great ride, soft and low rolling resistance. Will purchase again.

I really like the Continental Grand Prix 4-Season with Vectran, it rides really nice, I think it is faster than the Michelin that I usually ride. I will buy them again

Continental Grand Prix 4-Season tire is a great tire for everyday training. had the 25's and switched to the 23's and made a huge difference in speed and weight.

Been using this tube for a number of years..resist punctures quite well and still pliable to make an easy change.

Easy to mount, rolling resistance is average to good (not spectacular? ). I ride about 60 miles a week over Seattle streets through multiple construction zones and thus far only one flat after 500 miles. To be fair, it was a one-inch jag of glass that cut through all layers, but I would think that with all the ballyhoo about Vectran that this would have been less of an issue. Not quite as tough as the Hardshell, but the ride quality is palpably more smooth. They were on a 40% off sale, so the value at that price point is good, but full retail seems a little high for what is promised to be an almost invisible flat-protection system.

These tires provide amazing grip and stability without the sacrafice of speed. I was a little hesistant at first, however, I switched into these from a pair of 4000's and felt nothing but improvement. I commute to work and ride year round in northern NJ. I can't believe I didn't start riding with these sooner.

Purchased for Bay Area winter riding where there could be debris and wet roads. Performing great!

Have used many different bike tire brands over that last 40 years, but Conti GP 4-Seasons stand out as one of the best for wear, flat resistance, and value. I ride trails and a lot of county blacktop roads, both of which can at times have a fair share of debris, glass, thorns, etc. I keep in practice changing other people's flats, because I don't get many even though I run them down to the cords over several thousand miles.

Always ride rough back roads , cannot stand city traffic. Have gone through a few sets of these tires with no issues ,real tough tires . Sizing runs a little small 70025 is like 70023 grand prix4000s

These are my 'go to tires'. I'm a recreational road rider, doing about 100 miles a week, and find these guys to be very puncture resistant compared to other brands and other tires from Conti. They also have a pretty good supple road feel, but not quite as much as from some more vulnerable tires. I typically ride them about 2500-3000 miles between changes, and have gone as long as 4000. By then the rubber is just too dry to give a god ride. Good in wet or dry conditions.
Buy on sale and they're a fantastic value.

I moved to Portland riding Michelin ProRace 4 but they flatted too often here.
At first I tried Gatorskins and although bulletproof, they were no fun to ride.
Next I tried the Gran Prix 4 Season. It rode quite well so I put a set on my rain bike too.
Two years later, I'm still a big fan of this tire. In fact I ride them year round.
I started noticing a lot of local riders had discovered them too which confirmed my belief that I'd discovered a great tire.

Conti GP 4 Seasons have very reassuring traction on cold, wet pavement, a nice & fairly supple ride, and reasonably good resistance to flats. Not a racing tire, or a commuter tire, but having a blend of characteristics which make them ideal for year-round training, club rides, etc. The tread compound doesn't seem to be especially long wearing - likely a trade off for having such good grip - but I feel comfortable going 1,500 - 2,000 miles before replacing them (and I tend to replace tires sooner than later). They are a little spendy but I prefer running premium tires and BTD has a good price on them. Highly recommended.

As the locals say if it lives here in Arizona it either has fangs or thorns. Landscapers leave quite a bit of debris on the roads and ultrafine thorns can flatten most tires. We don't have 4 seasons but the Vectran layer has kept me rolling with relatively few problems. I felt the difference in ride with my first pair when I switched out the factory rubber on my Roubaix and they grip well cornering even on the rare day when the roads are wet.

Use this tire on my trek road bike. They last for lots of miles and have excellent flat protection.

Ideal winter tires - when these were new, I locked-up the back brake and skidded the back wheel and thought I must have scrubbed the tire badly, but there wasn't even a scuff on the tire surface. This would usually imply a tire with poor grip, but that isn't the case for these Continental tires - they grip well wet or dry.

use these all the time

No tire that rolls well and provides an acceptable ride is puncture proof. This tire has enough rubber that it will handle riding over road crap that isn't pointed or sharp enough to cut through the tire. If you want to bank the odds further in favor of handling sharp pointed nails, glass, etc., go for a tire like the Top Contact. You then trade a smooth roll for the extra rubber that can handle bigger glass and small staples or nails. If you are willing to accept some road cuts in favor of speed, go for the Grand Prix 4000s. Still durable, but faster. I ride on the Grand Prix 4 Season 23, 25, 28 and 32. I love the 32's. At that size, there is enough rubber to handle Winter in the Northwest. Nonetheless, when you ride over that sharp piece of glass that cuts through your new tire turning it into a throw-away, it hurts. Good alternatives I use are Schwalbe Marathon Supreme and Panaracer Pasela or T-Serv. They also have their trade-off characteristics. The GP4 Season is a huge favorite of mine.

In-city commuter, utility, and light recreational rider, overall about 50 miles per week. Replaced a worn-out pair of Gatorskins (6000 miles with 1 flat in 3 years!!) with these and immediately noticed the lighter weight and more responsive road feel. I agree with another reviewer that the Grand Prixs are easier to mount on the wheel then Gatorskins - I was able to mount one with a bit of muscle on a Salsa Delgado rim, and the other on a Mavic A319 after warming up the tire briefly in the sun. The Gatorskins required me to use tire levers every time. A bit pricey but shaping up to be worth every penny.

I put these on my Trek 5200, and oldie but goodie, and they feel just great. Here in N. Georgia there's lots of hills that get you up to speed quickly, and these tires roll like a dream. Unfortunately, a good amount of sharp junk on the sides of the roads to ruin your day, but no flats yet. Wonderful grip on high speed turns gives confidence when hitting them hard. The price was great also. I'll be staying with these for awhile.
