Having read so many positive reviews about these tires, there is not much I can add nevertheless, I would like to say that I am very, very happy with their overall performance. But above all, I want to be certain that while speeding or going down hill that my tires will not end up with flats or side wall burst. Regardless the quality of a tire, its performance depends by and large on the bicycle. I hope that continental shall never discontinue these tires.

I've ridden at least 6000 miles a year over the past decade, so I've gone through a lot of tires. I've tried almost every one of the better performance tires available and if I had to pick one that delivers the best compromise between dry and wet weather traction, durability, flat protection, ride quality and rolling resistance, this would be the one. Now, I have to say that I value performance pretty high, so there are definitely more durable and bullet proof tires out there, but if you're like me and enjoy a competitive club ride, but don't want to be left behind fixing a flat, these are the one to beat.

Best tire EVER! I'm an oversized rider compared to most. I'm 6'3" 240lbs. I ride 5-6 times per week with mileage averages at 24 miles per ride. These tires are the best for getting you out and back, period! Rain, hot pavement, stones, screws, glass, bolts, sheet metal, and whatever else is on the side of the road doesn't seem to come close to causing a flat. I use to change flats with my Michelin tires at least 4-7 times per year. I have had ZERO flats since switching to Conti's. Do it! You won't regret it. However, I'm NOT happy about the $60 dollar price tag. They were $40 bucks 2 years ago??

I have been riding these tires for almost 2 full seasons, and have put about 3500 - 4000 miles on them so far. I had a blow out of the tire after apparently hitting something sharp. This is the first flat I have had in all of this time riding in New England. They have been durable, and flat resistant till now, so I will buy another pair of Contis to replace these. The rear tire was ridden last winter on my trainer, and lost it's roundness looks kind of squared off in profile, but it has not affected either ridability or durability.

I live in Puerto Rico. Flat roads hardly exist here, mostly hills, steep hills or very steep hills. Once you make it to the top your faced with a steep down hill leading to curvy turns. These tires grip well on those turns and ride through small broken glass debris with no problems. The down side to them is that they arent too attractive. But Ill gladly sacrifice this minor inconvenience for safety and durability. It feels great to complete a training route without having to stop to fix a flat, or worse, stopping because the side wall of the tire was slashed. I recommend them to any one who spend too much time fixing flats and not enough time training .

These tires are a bit pricey but they hug the wet slick roads like fly on flypaper. Ran over some keawe Hawaiian Mesquite and no flats. Had Gatorskins for many years and thought they were the best puncture resistant tires out there but these beat them hands down. With the Gatorskins though, it slipped a little when the raods were damp. A bit tight that I have to muscle them onto my DT Swiss R1.1 rims.

Tandem mfrs put this on their race tandems, so it goes on our wannabe race tandem. It is a very light tire for what you get. We are on our second set of 28c's, and only one flat at about 28mph on the front. Enough sidewall to roll good while flat too...

I swear by this tire, used it in Alaska for the Fireweed 400 mile race, Adirondack 540 mile race, Furnace Creek 508 mile race across Death Valley and Mohave, 24 hour races in Florida. Race Across America Solo, all races included dry, wet, ice, snow, wind, gravel, very rough roads across Kansas and Missouri.
Not to mention all of the multi-century training days for preparation for all of these races.
These tires are FLAWLESS, very easy to handle, mount and change. Great for steep climbs in wet conditions, really holds the road with almost no slipping.
These tires are my first choice, and I am not sponsored by Continental!

I use the Grand Prix 4-Season on both my road racing bike and my commute bike, it handles well, and offers more puncture protection than a race tire. These are great tires, rain or shine, which is especially good for those long winter months (here in Portland, OR, anyway). If you find yourself faced with snow in winter, a studded winter tire is more up your alley.
Bottom line, this tire handles nearly as well in rain as it does on dry ground. It's a great purchase for anyone who rides in all conditions, and wants a durable tire that feels good.

I run 28s on both my winter training gravel bike (CX) as well as a tandem. I've ridden on all kinds of gravel roads and even on a few MTB trails with them. On the tandem we've recorded descending speeds of over 60mph and find them totally trustworthy. Logically, they are slightly heavy, but otherwise great handling, super durable, and hard wearing. My go-to tire.

Like many other reviewers I am a big fan of these tires. The only improvement I'd like Conti to make is to go one size wider. If I could I'd ride a 28 on the front and one size wider in the rear during the winter months when I'm commuting in the dark.

I run or have run various conti tires and tried these for first time. After three years mounted (not heavy miles) they have developed splits/cracks all around the circumference of the tread of the tire (plus the usual deterioration of the threads around the sidewall you get with all contis). But none of my other contis have ever developed the cracks. Still riding on them but it looks like the tread is all coming apart. For comparison I have a set of Conti Grand Prix on another bike which are original tires and over seven years old with none of this happening. Would not buy this particular type again and after the blow-off I got from conti consumer support when I brought this to their attention I am rethinking the brand in general.

I have been using them on my trek road bike for years. I average less than one flat per year (I ride 5,000+ each year). Expensive tires but they last. My 32 mm tires will last over 5000 miles.

I am a daily rider, 20 to 30 miles. I have been using Conti GP 4-season's for years. Fronts last me 12000 to 15000 miles, rears 8000 to 9000 miles. There is not a thing I don't like about them.

I have run the GP 4 Season tires for over 20 years with great results. Good reliable handling, few flats and very good durability. Never considered switching tires with the performance I have had from these. Highly recommend.

Ive run the 4-Season 25mm tires for years with a lot of success. After reading a lot about the advantages of a wider tire and lower pressure I decided to give it a try. The 32mm wont fit on my bike but the 28mm do and provide a stable and comfortable ride with no noticeable difference in speed or effort.

Durable and good traction.

I bought the 28mm 4season to replace 4 year old 28mm Gatorskins. The Gators lasted over 10000 miles and still look usable. My bike shop said the rear tire looked thin. I put the 4 seasons on, noticed that the back tire was hitting the frame, made sure it was on right, still hitting. Took it down from 115psi to 80psi and it just barely gets through. Im still going to use them and hope that a little wear gives more clearance so I can pump my tires up! I give it a 3 because it is larger than 28mm, which is the max size for my domane. The gators had plenty of clearance even when brand new. Why the size difference, conti?

The only tire for any season!!

These came highly recommended for my somewhat rough country roads and occasional gravelcaliche segments of rides. Never had a flat on them. They are, however, a noisy tire, more so than Michelin, Vittoria, Hutchinson I have used. Grip was on par with other tires. Good tires but there are equally good tires that do not have the road noise.
