Awesome tires, really great quality, I use them for commuting and they have holding up great.

I put these on my Marin Road bike and was amazed at the durability and how easily these tires roll. I have increased my average speed from 1 to 1 12 mph overall and this tire corners very good. I would highly recommend these tires.

If you are looking for a tire that rolls reasonably well, for traing or commuting this is the tire. The tire is also great to avoid flats on winter traing rides. I also have used the tire in a roadtrail race with success.

I rotate these tires to the rear for final wear, but it's hard to know when to retire them - they just keep on rollin', even when the threads are starting to show. Rarely a flat and the folding version is light and seems every bit as durable as the wire bead style. Training or event rides usually include rough pavement and chipseal and these tires are the best. You don't lose any time when you don't have to stop to fix a flat!

I have always used Gatorskins. They can stand up to pretty much anything you throw at them. BiketiresDirect has great prices and I buy 100% of my tires and tubes from them.

Have been riding these tires for 7 or 8 years. I do lots of city riding so they are subjected to quite a bit of street debris and pot holes, etc. I can usually expect to ride a set for at least one season.

This is a great bulletproof tire for commutingtouring and training. I have commuted on one for more than a year without a flat. The rubber holds up well and the tread does well in the dry and wet.

Use these tires for everyday training riding on pretty rough roads. Most of our roads around here are newly chipseal - seems that Texas has stopped paving their roads and just throws out chipseal and hopes for the best. These tires will last and assure no flats on long rides. Have even raced in them occasionally when race course roads are not the best.

i put off buying these for far too long. i was averaging 2 flatsweek (biking over nails, glass, goatheads, etc). since getting these, i haven't had a single flat. i've convinced at least 5 people in my neighborhood to get them (they were also struggling with flats). i can't say enough good things about these tires.

I kept getting flats and I needed a better tire. So I bought these and haven't had a problem. Now these are not the best rolling tires or the lightest, but they do what I wanted.

Great value when on sale. Good when not. These tires will provide you with a good year of service for the average rider. They will give you around 2000 miles of trouble free riding.

We use these 700x28 Gatorskins on our tandem. We do about 1500 milesyear and change the tires every 2 years. They have been flawless.

The Gatorskins are really tough tires. I use them on mountainous terrain, and I like them. They wear well and provide good grip (but understand that they are not super smooth racing tires). I get about 3,000 miles out of a pair, and I weigh about 150 to 155 lbs. and ride a lot of mountains in Colorado all year long. The extra puncture resistance is nice.

Used these for years. I've tried others, but always go back to the Gator Skins. I ride 4,000 to 5,000 a season encountering all manner of loose rock and other debris on the pavement. Tough tire with a tough side wall.

Don't want to say too much and jinx myself, but I have been very pleased with these tires and will buy another pair once they are worn out. The 25 width is a nice change from previous 23 Michelins, more comfortable, better cornering, and no noticible difference in speedeffort. I have ridden surfaces from new asphalt, chips and oil, dirt and gravel, distances from 25 - 110 miles with good result.

I've used these tires on long rides over very debris ridden streets for years and only encountered 1 tire failure where others were having many issues on the same routes. I'm sold.

I commute 2-3 days a week all year round. My ride in is 40-50 miles, the ride home 25-35 miles, over a mix of city, urban and semi rural roads in Western Pa - meaning really crappy roads!
I have been using Gatorskins fora couple of years now, well until the snow and ice force me to switch to 'cross tires ...
They are not the lightest tire, but they stand up to crappy roads incredibly well. I get great mileage from them (they last about twice as long as the Conti 4000 on my road bike) and while no puncture proof, they are damn close to it!
For commuting purposes I really can't think of a better option. I highly recommend them.

This is an excellent training tire. It is tough, wears well, and handles nicely. It is by no means a high-end racing tire, but it sure makes for an excellent tire for training or commuting.

The tires that came with my wife's Giant punctured when you looked at them wrong. In a 3 month stretch she had 3 flats on the rear tire and one in the front. Since switching to Gatorskins two months ago, not a single flat. I've used them for years on my bike and they've been great.

I have to put this out there first. I am a bike messenger and am typically hell on a pair of tires. I bought these tires which are a bit more expensive than what i used to paying. But i got them because of the outstading ratings and the first month or so they held up to those ratings. And possibly still do, ive only had a few blowouts since i got them, compared to the intense number of a few blowouts every other week. So id say if ur and average rider tthese tires ll probably kick ass, yett if your looking for a close to indistuctable tire as i guess i am, then well u can just keep waiting.. since it doesnt exist yet as it seems
