I restore old bikes as a hobby and give them to a local shelter when I'm done. I get to be a better mechanic and the guys at the shelter can use the bikes. These tires were for a his-and-her pair of about 30-year old Murrays which had sat around in a garage for many years. They were interesting in that they had 2-speed mechanical automatic transmissions. The tires have a wide white wall and looked quite authentic, and were a reasonable price.

My daughter has an older heavy bike. She puts it in the back of her car. Drives the car to college, takes the bike out of the trunk, and rides to the buildings where her classes are in. The tires were dry rotted and I replaced them with these pretty white walls.
It not only made the bike much prettier to look at, and shows up better in the dark for safety with the white walls. But it also became MUCH EASIER to ride. Like the flexibility returned and the bounce, the bike rolled easier, faster, it was amazing. Both of us were very happy with the purchase.

I Am a expedition biker. I have full packs allaround. These ties are perfect for highway and just enough grip tread to travel on trails. Am totally satisfied. Thanks folks--John

These tires look great on this bike and seem to be wearing very well. I get comments almost everywhere I go.

Large, bulbus tire remains soft at max PSI. Comfort ride on black top and wide tread surface keeps adult weight rider (175 lb) from sinking in the sand. These replaced tires of same dimentions and I found them to be a tad larger width(2.125). I had to fiddle with the fender supports to keep them from rubbing the tires' sidewalls.

When looking for a bigger width tire for a tandem or cruiser bike, this one is the answer, because it will accept 65 psi, and has a smooth surface flat road tread (for minimum rolling resistance).

Great cruiser tire with nice white wall. Rides real smooth.

One of few fat 26 tires that will accept more than 40 psi (65 psi).

These tires look great with clean whitewalls and nice tread pattern. I restored 2 older beach cruisers and these tires are better than the originals. Nice and fat, smooth ride. Shipping for 1 tire is the same as 4 tires, so the more you buy the better the deal.

Good quality for price. You can air these babies up and roll smoother and easier than those tires with lower tire pressure. Nice tread design. I'm pleased all the way around.

The only thing I found slightly objectionable was a bit of noise riding in water very minor issue. It is a great tire for bikes without shocks, run them low 25-30 for good shock absorbing, run them at max pressure 40lbsfor road riding. These aren't speciality tires but neither is the price. I have used these for years, but never was able to wear one out, even after 8,000 miles it only showed slight wear my bikes always end up being stolen so I never got further than that. As far as looks, their too cool!, especially with a black bike--I rode in Viet Nam with these tires and people were dazzled by them. My riding is trails, paths, and city riding-just fine--if you are into jumping off of cliffs, extreme trails, competition, and other forms of craziness you'd better look into another tire.
