I have another pair of Castelli XL gloves for cold weather that aren't water-resist, so I ordered these in the same size. The fingers were stubby even though they stretched nicely, but I knew they would bug me. My wife wears a size large and she tried them on. They fit her just right and she really liked how warm they were. She also liked that she could keep them on while using her phone outside. So, she got a nice pair of gloves!
They are minimalist, not much padding, nice grip for the bars, warm, and a high rating from road.cc, but the Castelli fit can be on the small size and not predictable. I also ordered the Pearl Izumi Cyclone gloves in XL and they fit just right. I'm keeping those gloves; they are quite warm, nice padding , and will hold up in wet rides.
