I purchased one of these to replace the original Silca type air chuck on my Blackburn Air Tower HP. I was bending the threaded valve stems on my tubes. Easy fix, screws on easily. Wish Blackburn would include this as an option with their floor pumps.

This replacement head was an inexpensive refresher, making an unusable pump work like new again. It was equal in quality to the original and was easy to thread onto the original hose. Some retailers sell the head only in combination with a new hose, which I did not need, so this was a pleasure to find.

Now I can use my pump for anything I need air in. This replaced my presta-only valve and it works great.

Removed old Silca presta valve adapter and replaced with new Blackburn pump head. Old Silca pump head would not hold onto presta valve and would pop off. A new rubber seal doesn't last long. Now pump head does not pop off. Did not need to change hose, but had to cut off old pump head; lubed end of hose and inserted into new pump head. It's a very tight fit, but it shouldn't ever come off.
