Not much to say about CO2 cartridges. They either work or they don't. These work. They will fill your tires with enough gas to finish your ride.

Always work when needed

These do what they're supposed to do. I like that the 16g cartridge has the right amount of air inside for my 700x25c tires. They have not exploded in my saddlebag. :-) Price on BTD is good.

They put more air in the tire per dollar, due to the lower price! Sweet.

I'm fortunate to say that I haven't had to purchase a whole lot of these. However, all it takes is one ride to remind you that you might ought to have a few extras on hand. I use the Portland Design Works Shiny Object inflator. These thread in securely and stay put. They also fit in my small under-saddle bag, which holds a spare tube, levers, inflator, tire boot, etc. I find that these will only inflate a 25c tire/tube to about 80-85 psi, which is adequate to get through the ride. If you happen to have a hand pump and get the tube partially inflated, then these are great at topping off to higher pressure. It all depends on what your tire/tube situation is and what you're willing to carry on a ride.
Tip: Cut a portion of an old tube and put it around the C02 cartridge. These things frost up immediately as they expend their compressed CO2. So, after mounting your tight tire back on the rim of your expensive carbon wheel, it can hurt when your tenderized flesh pulls loose from the ice-cold surface of the cartridge. An old tube will protect your skin and makes the cartridge just a bit less bulky in your saddle bag or jersey pocket.

I always carry 2. Insurance.

These are standard issue threaded CO2s. Nothing fancy, but they work well with my Portland shiny metal object. BTD has them for a great price. Everyone should have a stock these for their rides and toolbox.
