I love the feel of Fizik's "soft touch" 2mm Microtex bar tape, but it's very thin and doesn't offer any cushion. I used to use it on top of thicker cork tape, which was comfortable but bulky. So I decided to try these gel pads, and I'm a convert. I used these on a cross-country bike tour, underneath the Fizik tape, and NEVER had any problems with hand numbness or discomfort. Nice! Around town, these pads eliminate the need to carry padded gloves to wear while riding. Nothing bad to say about 'em.

Limits vibration of the handle bar.

I got these bc I get some pinky numbness on certain rides. These are certainly comfy, but add a ton of thickness to your bars and are a bit of pain to bar wrap around. Looks a bit funny too.

Anyway, if you're after a ton of padding, these won't disappoint.

I've used both the soft and firm versions of this gel bar padding. I found the soft version to be completely ineffective, so the next time, I opted for the firm version and it feels more shock absorbent than the soft gel.

Product works well. I ordered both densities, because I wasn't sure which I would like. Frankly I couldn't really tell the difference. Both work well, and I don't mind a slightly larger grip. Those that prefer a smaller grip might find these uncomfortable

I have to have padded bars or my hands and wrists hurt like hell. this brand is more affordable than the Fizik and just as comfy.

I found it easy to install. I like the feel of the extra cushion on longer rides.

Actually still combined this with gel tape and wing design carbon fiber bars to provide a plush, spread out surface to help defuse numbness.
