This is a great saddle bag. However, there is one major design flaw. The only thing keeping the bag closed is one strap and buckle. All of your small items will just fall out during your ride. Warning Your stuff will fall out, trust me.

A lightweight, versatile bag for handlebar or saddle. I like the reflective stripes, particularly when used behind saddle. One clip closure is easy, but small items could possibly slip out.

I use this as a handle bar bag, for randonneuring. It is relatively small and hangs under the handle bar no conflicts with cables or other handle bar-mounted items, like a light. There is enough room for both my Pearl Izumi Barrier jacket and Showers Pass raincoat, plus an energy bar. There are no dividers or side-pockets. No shoulder strap. My biggest quibble is the snap-buckle closure, which is located in the middle of the cover flap. It leaves the sides of the flap unsecure. There should be either two snap buckles or a zipper.

I use the Barrel Bag when on longer rides, especially when on tours. This bag was just the right size to hold a rain jacket, sunblock, and some nutrition. It was rain resistant, too. I was glad to have it.
