The Speed Knee Sleeve is a low-profile and lightweight pad that is well suited for long days in the saddle. While the protection levels in this sleeve aren't tough as steel, durable D3O® material can be found in a thin pad directly on top of the knee cap. Ingenious 360° seamless construction provides comfort for those all-day rides. With silicone grippers to prevent slipping as well as reflective logos to enhance visibility, hit the trail with lightweight protection.
The Troy Lee Designs Speed Knee Pads take a minimalist approach and deliver clean and simple aesthetics and a high level of pedaling comfort. This sleeve is a great idea, it's the right level of protection for someone who maybe gets a little sendy on XC trails, or pushes for the best strava time they can to challenge themselves, knowing full well they might eat it, and just want to minimize the recovery time.
I ride my local trails as hard as I can, and sometimes I don't want a real knee pad, but rather just something between the ground and I. That's what this pad is here for. Just enough protection so it's not bare skin against that rock, but not so much I'd trust this on any trail with 'enduro' in the title.
I've tried other knee armor but they tend not to stay in place. These are nicely made, relatively thin and stay in place. I have to admit I'm not a fan of knee and elbow armor, but when you bite it they'll keep you from unnecessary body damage. Great product.
