Description
Double Your Adventure with the New Silca Mattone Grande Seat Pack
The new Silca Mattone Grande seat pack improves on the original by doubling the volume, packing two 29er mountain bike tubes, tire levers, C02 and multi-tool into the same ultra-secure, BOA-equipped, internally structured design.
Traditionally, seat bags have employed rudimentary open-concept designs that unfortunately allowed quite a bit of rattling and internal friction, often compromising spare tubes in the process. The Mottone Grande's book-like internal structure partitions soft delicate goods safely away from harder, sharper edged items.
The unique off-center Aquaguard Zipper allows the case to completely open and lay flat when off the bike, while also allowing easy access to the multi-tool and money/card slots when on the bike without risk of spilling all the contents of the bag.
Features:
- BOA® Closure System
- YKK Waterproof Zipper
- Hypalon strap for security
- Capacity: 1.3L
- Holds 2 29er MTB tubes, 2 CO2, regulator, tire levers and multi-tool

Very nice quality, excited to see how BOA lasts
Scored this on sale from BTD. Moving to tubeless so looking for a smaller, more compact unseat bag.
Hoping it proves to hold to usual Silca quality standards.

works ok.
bicycle seat bag, what else would you use it for? it takes alittle more time to get buckle started than a velcro strap.

Geat bag. Perfect fr everything i need.
I had this bag in the smaller size on my road bike and it was so good, I replaced my gravel bike bag with this one. Holds everything I need and mounts sturdy. These have become my go to!

Grande-er
Silca rarely disappoints. This seat bag is no different. It works, has clean style and holds more than it's baby brother. If my ride is going to take hours and be relatively remote, I use this one in place of the smaller one. Brother Grande can hold a couple of tubes and extra CO2 cartridges. Of course it fits my tools too!

Bigger size is nice if you want to carry a spare tube.
I have the smaller version of this seat pack and love it. But I also like to carry an emergency tube even though I'm running tubeless now. The smaller version is just a little too small to accommodate tools, inflator, CO2 canisters, AND a spare tube. This size can handle it all.

the best size for a seat pack yet
This is my new favorite for size, utility and appearance. Perhaps a little less style than the Capsule, this has a bit more room and looks and feels great

Bigger but not Better than Premio
The size is great, big yet compact. But the Mattone lacks the red pull tab that makes it more difficult to remove from the bike seat than the Premio which works like a charm.
