Reviews
When I first put these on my bike (Fezzari Shafer carbon), it looked downright silly. Actually, even after a few months, they still do. But the shallow reach and wide flare is perfect it's completely transformed how I descend and my confidence through rough patches of gravel. I spend a lot more time in the drops. By conventional road bike standards these would be considered too wide for me (I got the 46cm, FYI, and I ride a 55-56cm / Medium bike), but this is gravel and comfort and control is what I want from my gravel rig. While less aero, they are all-around very comfortable, especially with the wider top bars and gentle backsweep. Get them on sale for less than $100 and it's a steal.
These bars have been an excellent addition to my Niner RLT RDO.I primarily wanted these to make room for my Revelate Designs Sweetroll While out camping, however I soon discovered the benefit and added stability these bars offered. Exceptional downhill tracking and stability in the drops while taking the pressure off the elbows that traditional bars place. Only thing I regret is not going carbon right out of the gate. May upgrade to that at a later date and move these to another gravel bike I have.
