Light Duty Knee Protection
Lightweight and flexible padding that is barely noticeable — ideal for riders who want complete freedom of movement and reliable protection. The POC Joint VPD Air Knee padding is both highly flexible and highly ventilated for optimal freedom of movement, comfort, and temperature control.
The Visco-Elastic Polymer Dough (VPD) conforms for an individualized fit, yet provides exceptional impact absorption. The pad is housed in reinforced stretch fabric that stays securely in place thanks to an inner lining of anti-slip neoprene and an elastic strap with velcro fastening. This unique knee guard utilizes the anti-slip neoprene on the inside of the pad for minimal chafing, irritation, and overall creeping while on the trail.
The POC Joint VPD Air Knee Pad gives low-profile protection for riders looking for the most flexible, ventilated, and unrestricted option. The lightweight and highly ventilated panels keep you cool and protected with the breathability you need while on the bike.

Reviews
Was looking for a lightweight, breathable pad and this fit the bill - I like how the pad wraps around the side a bit to offer a little side protection which I think is needed in a knee pad. It's pretty minimalist, really geared toward the type of trail riding I do, probably not the best for downhill but should offer enough protection on a spill in a rock garden. Large pads usually fit me well and these do but I have the strap loosened all the way so could be snug for some. All in all very comfortable to pedal in and seems to have adequate protection.
I ordered the medium size. At first, I thought they were too snug but gave them some time and they loosened just enough. Now I only notice a bit on long climbs or when some debris gets into the top and rubs a bit. Otherwise they are great and I would likely buy again when these wear out. They only provide a moderate amount of protection, but that is what I wanted, something that is comfortable enough that I would wear them every ride.
They are pretty comfortable once you dial in the size. They fit kind of small-even though I followed their measurement in the size chart the medium was very tight. I had to return the first pair and re-order the large. Haven't had to try out the protection yet-thank goodness.
