The Pedro's Chain Checker Plus II has a precision laser cut design that accurately measures 0.5% and 0.75% chain wear. The three-point chain wear tool design properly isolates pin wear from roller wear.

Once I studied a bit how to use it correctly, this tool is simple to use and will never need batteries or calibrating. I find the measurements it gives just right for when to replace a chain before you wear the rest of the drivetrain.
