Your First Defense As Fall Hits
The Pearl Izumi Thermal Lite Glove is their lightest insulated glove, perfect for when coverage needs are minimal. Thanks to screen printing on the palm, it has enough grip to keep you in control, and even offers touch-screen compatibility.
Seaming is minimal to reduce bulk and keep the glove lightweight, making it a great glove to use as a liner in a heavier glove for an especially cold day. The logos are reflective for improved visibility in low-light conditions.
Features:
- Lightweight Thermal fabric for entire glove
- Screen print in palm for additional grip
- Touch screen compatible index finger and thumb
- BioViz® reflective elements for low light visibility
- 84% polyester, 16% elastane, Made in Vietnam

Reviews
Holding strong after several months of daily 4-5 hour long use. No frayed edges, no loose threads, and no uncomfortable seam placement. The fabric is four-way stretch and soft. The wrist band fits well to my wrist, and the rest of the glove is a bit more loose on my hand. The soft, flexible, and see-through plastic used on the pads of the fingers and palm of the hand have excellent grip and I love that I can use my phone if I need to without taking off my gloves.
I rate a 4/5 stars because of the shape of the finger tips on the glove, maybe they are sewn with a longer finger in mind, but the very tip of the fingers come to a point that folds over on itself and does unfortunately take away from the plastic grippy feature for touch screen use. I plan to sew the fingers to be shorter and make some minor fitting adjustments to the rest of the glove. I bought a size small and my hands definitely have a lot (maybe a little too much) room. I also happened to buy these on sale so I got two pairs for about $24 which is so cheap I almost feel bad 'complaining' about the fingers and fit of the glove, however hopefully this will help another buyer plan to buy a size down if they enjoy a very very snug fit the way that I do.
I ordered a size small, and it was still pretty big. I used these on a autumn tour and they were good for dry brisk days. I also wore these inside of my winter gloves when it was raining. I don't think these gloves are gendered, but I would guess that it's really a men's size small. My guy friend I was with, I would say has average sized hands, and when he wore these, they were a little tight on him.
Here in the PNW you can be in one season in the morning, and another in the afternoon.
This glove is perfect for those days. Warm enough to keep the fingers comfy in the AM, and light enough to not be sweaty in the PM. Highly recommend.
Agree with other users that the prior version of these gloves was better, but these are still solid! Make sure to pull them on tightly to avoid excess space in the finger tips. Otherwise they are warm, light weight and grippy!
I live in the East SF Bay Area and I love the winter night rides through the Pinole Valley. It is common for the windchill to be near freezing. So I like to have 3 pairs of gloves in layers. Inner layer = full finger acrylic; middle layer = full finger 2X gel, and outer layer = these gloves. They are nicely stretchy with a "thermal weave", like a very thick spandex, so they fit over the other gloves and yet maintain a wind barrier. I bought them 2 sizes too big so they actually fit over the other 2 layers. These gloves are perfect as an outer layer for winter rides!
No comparison to the old ones, already coming apart after only a few hundred miles (daily commuting, nothing too extreme), had to repair, my old ones lasted years before they needed to be replaced. Supposed to be unisex but the finger tips are pointed (like they're designed for long nails) as opposed to flat like the old ones and always leave a space at the tip. If you had the old ones, be prepared for disappointment
