A High-Quality Bar For A High-Performance Ride
Even though 35mm handlebars have become pervasive in the mountain bike world, they can often feel too harsh during a full day of riding rough trails. OneUp claims to have solved this problem with the Carbon Rider Bar, the ultimate add-on to make your bike run smoother than ever.
A unique patent-pending flattened oval shape delivers just the right amount of vertical compliance, combining the best characteristics of 31.8mm and 35.0mm diameter handlebar standards. This one-of-a-kind profile increases steering responsiveness, allowing you to hit all the turns with ease. A unique design minimizes the 35mm clamping area and quickly changes to a flattened oval shape in the transition zone, then to the standard 22.2 clamps for the shifter, brakes, and grips.
By reducing arm pump and vibration while also increasing steering response, this strong and lightweight riser bar only improves your handlebar. When it comes to the ultimate upgrade for lightweight yet noticeable performance, the OneUp Components Carbon Riser Bar is the ultimate necessity.

Reviews
Carbon bars are definitely a 'luxury' item that are also on the bling list for many. As such - almost every component mfg. and some bike frame mfg. have all produced a product to get a share in this market. It's nice to see a brand stand out with truly different tech that actually works. I don't know about percentages of improved compliance but coming from a set of perfectly good RF SixC bars, the OneUp Components Carbon bar definitely rides smoother in chattery terrain. I ride a shorter travel (130 / 120mm), 29" trail bike (Evil FMB) pretty much everywhere and where I feel it the most is blasting around berms that have seen better days or just chunky rock gardens. It just seems to take the edge off the impact and somehow make it feel more controllable with little loss of feel or precision. I don't doubt that it could also help with long distance hand issues but that hasn't really been an issue for me on the trail bike - the fully rigid gravel bike is another story though. OUC - are you listening?
I've been using OneUp bars on my bikes for a couple years now. The best thing I noticed when I first made the switch is not having hand fatigue on 2+ hour rides. The bars have just the right amount of stiffness and compliance when and where you need it.
I was replacing my stock bars with 25mm rise, which was perfect. I wasn't sure whether to go up to 35mm or down to 20mm. I guessed wrong. like these bars a lot, but the 35mm rise ended up being too much for me. So I ordered the 20mm bar and it feels much better. They're nice and light and fairly affordable. A nice and easy upgrade for your mtb.
I have to say, I've seen these bars on some of my buddies' bikes, but, I was still impressed with the quality and finish of the product when it came out of the box. It looks great on my bike and has relieved some of my hand fatigue/hand pump that has been bothering me lately. It is a little more expensive than some of the other carbon options out there, but, I think it was totally worth the price.
Bought these for my wife, hoping to help with some wrist pain she was getting from the stock Santa Cruz bars on her Nomad 4. These bars from OneUp definitely delivered, she loves them! Great price, and great looking bars as well. I was a little nervous about cutting carbon bars myself, but was actually super easy with a fine tooth hack saw.
