The NiteRider Swift™ 500 features all the power you want in a compact and lightweight package. It utilizes a custom engineered collimator lens that distributes a soft even light beam pattern. The lens wraps around to the sides light body, providing additional side visibility, a necessity while navigating the roadways.
Note: The NiteRider® Swift™ 500 is shipped from the factory in Travel Lock Out Mode. This mode feature is designed to save battery power by preventing the head light from accidentally turning on while in storage. Simply press and hold power button 8-10 seconds to lock / unlock.

Reviews
I use this light as a daytime running light in both group and solo rides. I replaced a Specialized light with this one because it stopped working in cold weather (20 degrees F) and would not turn on again. My previous Night Rider worked for years without fail, regardless the temperature. So far this new one is as reliable as the last one.
