Designed specifically for gravel bikes and other mid-volume tires, the Lezyne Sport Gravel Floor Drive is the ultimate floor pump for quickly and accurately inflating tires measuring 32c and larger. Built around a larger diameter barrel than the CNC and Classic Floor Drive pumps, the Sport Gravel Floor Drive pushes more air per stroke for faster fill-ups while still offering easy pumping action.
Lezyne's easy-to-read — and extremely accurate — 3.5" (88.9mm) analog gauge ensures dialing in the perfect pressure is a hassle-free affair, offering +/- .5 PSI (.3 BAR) accuracy up to 100 PSI (6.9 BAR). Equipped with the Tubeless Chuck, this floor pump is equally at home with pre-ride top-offs as seating tubeless tires. Featuring a flippable design, the Tubeless Chuck easily threads directly onto Presta valves, or, directly onto the valve shaft once the valve core is removed to provide greater airflow for seating tubeless tires. The chuck also features a built-in valve core tool for easy valve tightening and removal.
A versatile, extra-long hose allows for easy inflation whether your bike is on the ground, in the workstand, or hanging out on your hitch rack at the trailhead. Built to last, the Lezyne Gravel Floor Drive's barrel and piston are built from durable high-grade steel and mounted to a rugged Composite Matrix base. I did not see anywhere when choosing this pump that it screwed on the valve stem. I works great if you can properly thread it on. One time out of 10 attemps I am successful. If it does not thread on exactly the correct way, you loose all the air trying. I am over 60 and cannot possibly just grab this pump to add a little air as I need to find close up glasses because the threading of the nozzle is really hard to line up correctly. Difficult also to thread it on between the spokes and no room to turn the nozzle.
The guage is great which the description talked about but this is a pain in the butt pump to use. It is very nice looking sitting in my bike room but functionality is very poor.
I had been using the same tire pump for over ten years, and realized I needed to up my game. I spoke with the knowledgeable folks at BTD and they suggested this Lezyne Gravel model. Honestly, I can't believe I waited so long to make the upgrade. The dial on this model is large so easy to read the small differences in pressure. The screw on system was new to me but works like a charm both on my new gravel bike and older road bike. Operation has been flawless and I couldn't recommend more highly.
This is my home shop pump. It is very robust, the large analog gauge is very accurate and easy to read. I use it on all my bikes tires, even my road bikes because I only inflate to 90psi. The screw on connection is great, works great with either type of valve.
This is a good pump and a great deal from BikeTiresDirect when on sale for just over $50. I bought it for use on both MTB and Road bikes (28mm road tires so the 100 PSI max is fine). I have not had a chance to try seating a new tubeless tire so can't comment on that feature. The gauge is indeed easy to read. The screw on valve does take some practice.
Good pump as promised. But a bit of a fiddle to get it screwed onto the valve. Otherwise massive dial read out which looks cool and is good for old eyes. My toddler loves this thing. I would buy it again.
