Description
The Lezyne Gauge Drive HP Hand Pump makes short of work of flat tires with its CNC-machined aluminum handle and body with separate valve hose fitting. This high pressure version pumps up to a full 120 psi / 8.3 bar, which is easily measured using the inline Pen Gauge. An Air Bleed System at the chuck makes it possible to finely adjust pressure on the road, and its light weight and compact design mean it's no hassle to carry around either. Includes a frame mount that attaches to water-bottle bosses. 232 mm length. Claimed weight is 119 g. Works with both Presta and Schrader valves.

Reviews
DO NOT BUY THIS PUMP.
I've previously owned a Lezyne Road Drive pump that I've owned over 5 years and it's been decent. When I saw this version had a gauge, I was like Woah! I definitely need this!
The difference between what I had and what I wanted was the build quality. Mainly using metal vs. plastic. Gauge Drive used plastic parts where the Road Drive uses metal. Aside from that, they use metal parts to thread into plastic.
Second time using this pump, I handed it over to a friend and he was impressed by the gauge. Then it completely pulled out of the threading. I tried to thread it back in, and it worked some what, but he eventually used his own pump.
Today, I just finished a 40 mile ride up some mountains with a friend, and it did the same thing. In fact, it won't even pump the tire without flying off. Not only with the gauge metal parts not hold in the plastic, but the threading is completely worn now. I can push it in and pull it off. Then I noticed the Gauge Drive is riddled with plastic parts, making it light, but a piece of crap.
I've only used this pump 3 times, and it's now worthless. In fact, I'm considering no longer purchasing any Lezyne products. The first pump I owned, the Road Drive, is completely worn out from use along the shaft, heats up like crazy when pumping and has become more difficult to use the more times you use it.
My first use of this pump was yesterday on a century ride. The screw on valve adapter kept unscrewing the valve core when I took the pump off. After three tries of pumping with this pump I borrowed my friends that worked just fine.
Also the claim that The Lezyne Gauge Drive HP Hand Pump makes short of work of flat tires with its CNC-machined aluminum handle and body with separate valve hose fitting is totally untrue. The rubber hole on the ends of the pump make it uncomfortable to pump beyond 40 PSI and pumping up to a required normal pressure of 90-100 PSI is virtually impossible. I would say it took me 5 minutes and 300 strokes to get to 50 PSI.
The other problem is the mechanical interface between to hose and the pump body. There are too few threads and it unscrewed several times while pumping. It is also prone to cross threading.
Overall I am extremely disappointed with this product and will throw it away if it can't be returned, as bottom line is that it just doesn't work.
This is a nice light pump, with high pressure capabilities. I like that it doesn't have an exposed head, so you don't have to worry about sand and water getting into it. It's also more streamlined because of that. It's easy to use, and I really like the built in pressure gauge. It's not 100% accurate, but it's good enough to complete a ride. Overall I'm happy and would certainly recommend it.
I don't know what the guys who wrote the review was taking about when he said threading the hose on would be problematic over time It's all CNC's alloy and seems super durable. I have used other pumps where you slide the whole pump head on the valve and have seen that style break the valve stem clean off while pumping. With this Lezyne pump the hose threads on to the valve and you can pump to your hearts contact without fear of breaking the valve stem off.
Super little pump, does the job and fits into my jersey pocket or use the included clip that mounts under the water bottle cage.
Bought this pump to use on rides with the grand kids. Threading the hose on the plastic pump end will be problematic over time. See Bicycle Quarterly's review in the current issue. I returned this pump and am waiting for Lezyne to up grade to metal end pieces then will try it again. This product in it's current configuration needs to be recalled by the manufacturer in my opinion.
Works very well with Presta or Schrader. I use a frame mount to secure it to me bike and there is a rattle when I ride from the hose stored inside but its not that noticeable with other road noises present. I would recommend it to a friend.
