Custom Illumination For The Way You Ride
Describing this light as bright is a serious under-statement. Using new COB technology, Blinder Grid produces a punchy 200 lumens that will ensure you're seen and safe in all light conditions.
It features a grid pattern that makes this Blinder one of Knog's most individual lights ever. The graphic flash pattern has 8 different modes and is also available as a rear light to make a unique pair.
The Blinder Grid has integrated USB recharging, is 100% waterproof and has a whopping 60 hour run-time when using eco flash mode.
Integrated USB Plug
No charging cable is required for your Blinder, its integrated USB plugs directly into USB ports. It has a charge time of 4 hours. When your Blinder is running low on battery, a red led will light up next to the button. This ring will turn green and then turn off once the Blinder is fully charged and ready to go.
Tool-Less Mount
Blinder lights comes with a tool-less removable silicone strap for bars and seat posts 22 - 32mm in diameter. A large strap is also provided that will fit tubes and head tube profiles with a circumference of up to 200mm. Knog's tool-less mounting system makes attaching your light incredibly simple and using silicone straps means there'll be no chance of damaging your bike's frame or beloved paint job.
Easy-On, Easy-Off
Removing your Blinder for charging or security purposes is a doddle with our handy clasp removal system. Strong enough to hold your light firmly in place when in use and big enough to use even when wearing gloves in colder conditions, this is a king amongst clasps.
Blindingly Bright
Producing 200 lumens of light output makes this Blinder a seriously bright option for any cyclist. Efficient Chip on Board (COB) LEDs provide maximum brightness level for up to 90% of the battery burn time.

Reviews
This is an update to my previous review, where I noted the primary weakness of this product: it's clasp. I wanted to note that Knog made good on its warranty, by sending me TWO replacement clasps, so kudos to them. My plan going forward is to always remove this headlight from the handlebar whenever I'm not actually riding the bike. This way, the pressure on the clasp will be minimized and I think I may get a reasonable span of use for this product. Perhaps in a future iteration of this light they can improve the mechanism of attachment.
I have used this light for about 8 months as a daytime running light. I think it's pretty good, but it has one major design flaw, in my opinion. The clasp which holds it to the bar is a small piece of plastic with a slender metal rod. A few days ago, I found this light on my garage floor -- the plastic simply broke from the tension. There is a 2-year guarantee, so I am waiting to see if Knog considers this a warranty issue. However, since they sell these as spare parts, I have my doubts. It's too bad they couldn't get the "easy" part of this design right: a mechanism to attach the light to the bars with an o-ring ought to be simple, right? I shouldn't have to purchase spare parts every 6-8 months just to keep this attached to my bike!
The clip snaps off when riding almost every time I used it. Strapped on standard size handlebars with usual amount of tension on strap.
Also the angle of the light makes it very annoying when riding. The top of the light shines straight up into eye line.
Stopped using after a month or so.
This powerful light is very useful for road cycling as it provides a warning to oncoming motorist, or those that might make a left turn in front of your riding path. I am very happy with the Knog Blinder so far. The battery life is great, and the brightness is amazing. It is easy to apply and remove from the handle bars, and even easier to recharge. I am very happy with this purchase, and will most likely now purchase a Knog rear light to replace my older rear light that runs on AAA batteries.
I use this light during all my rides, and it is great for safety. I don't bike at night, so can't say how well it would illuminate the road, but as a DRL in Flash mode, it is fantastic, and the battery life is amazing. I don't have to recharge it until after 4 or 5 rides, and each ride is about 4-6 hours.
