Giro Aries Spherical Pad Set

Easy replacement pads that do their job. This is more a testament to the whole helmet and not just the pads, but this pad set is so simple and effective its hard to compare to others. Just a single but highly functional brow pad and then that little V thingy that probable never needs replacing. The brow pad does all the work with how this helmet is designed and these replacements are so easy to deal with and cost effective. Every 2-3 rides I just take out brow pad, rinse it off and let it dry (which it does in about an hour) and its ready for the next ride. Easy out, easy in, which makes it easier to keep clean and fresh. I love that each pack of these comes with two brow pads: it'll probably take me 18 months (riding 5x/week) to work through these and then it easy to get another pack. If you're looking at these pads, then you've got the helmet and you already know how fantastic it is. Extra pad set is a no brainer.

I use these pads on my Giro Aether helmet. The forehead pad is more substantial than the original, which makes the helmet slightly warmer but it is also much better at blocking the sweat from running into my eyes. Overall I prefer these pads to the originals.
