All-Powerful For All-Terrain
The Argo is Fizik's most versatile saddle shape, with each version suited to different riding styles. As the gravel-specific option, the Terra Argo has been engineered with a compliant shell to offer a certain degree of flexibility. This controlled elasticity absorbs road chatter and vibrations, delivering the comfort needed for long-distance riding over unpaved roads.
The Argo allows for a more planted position, delivering greater stability and better weight distribution. The short length and ergonomic cut-outs allow you to sit without placing undue pressure on sensitive areas. Fizik's closed-loop Mobius rail system provides increased structural stability and responsiveness, while a waved saddle profile delivers the lower-back support necessary for long rides over loose terrain. The same goes for the dropped-nose design which allows you to rotate their pelvis while pushing forward on the nose for better traction and power transfer.
The padding used in the Terra Argo X5 Saddle is made from Fizik's proprietary Type-2 foam formulation. This cushioning is slightly thicker around the ischial sit bones area to support a more upright riding posture. The cushioning is slightly softer and more progressive than the type used on racing saddles, providing more long-distance comfort. With an all-terrain design intended to take you beyond your boundaries, rise to the challenge with this unforgettable saddle.

Reviews
I have to give this saddle a 5 star - not for it's comfort on my gravel bike, but for comfort on my bike mounted on the indoor trainer. Anyone who rides indoors on a (mostly) static trainer knows how saddle comfort really comes into play! After riding a Specialized Body Geometry on my indoor bike for years, I finally decided it was time to invest some time and money into improving the comfort level on the saddle. While the BG was always fine out on the road, it would promote hot spots and saddle sores riding indoors. For frame of reference, I bought a Canyon Grail gravel bike last year and found the X3 on that bike to be very comfortable on rough gravel roads. It's 150mm whereas my BG was 143mm. I noticed gravel saddles tend to be wider and after some research on comfortable saddles for indoor riding, the X3/X5 came up a few times. So I pulled the trigger and got the X5 for the indoor bike, since weight was not an issue. I have to say that after a few weeks of riding 75-90 minute sessions 3-5 days per week, this saddle is way more comfortable and a definite upgrade. The Terra Argo saddles are highly recommended for indoors and out!
I have been riding the ARIONE for many years and started to feel uncomfortable a while back. After several months of making minor saddle adjustment with little improvement I tried the Argo X5 saddle. The saddle is great, very comfortable. Since switching to this saddle I have done a couple of 6+ hour road and grave rides, in addition to normal training, and the saddle is great.
