Reviews
I bought these for dual purpose road and mountain biking(MTB). Both bikes have rat trap pedals. My road bike has toe clips and straps(Yes, I'm an old timer!!), the MTB doesn't. I'm happy with shoes on both bikes. I feel confident standing on pedals hill climbing, shoes have decent firmness. The soft grip soles really help keep the feet on the pedals. I've done 100 miles on each bike. I've also walked in them some, very good. My only issue was that they hurt my instep by the bone when first worn. This went away after a few rides. Give your feet(or shoes??) a chance to adapt. The soles are holding up well, no signs of wear yet. A great shoe for multi purpose cycling and walking!! A bit pricey but worth it. They look good too!
