Rugged Shoe Protection For Dirty Days
Endura was among the first to employ neoprene in bike overshoes. The MT500 Overshoe has been a best-seller for many years. This latest evolution of the waterproof and durable mountain bike overshoe is the result of years of testing in the worst possible conditions.
The standout feature is the molded rubber toe cap. This has been totally revamped with improved tread on the underside to provide plenty of grip on steep, muddy slopes and also includes additional reinforced areas that improve durability. An offset rear zipper includes a snap-down puller and a guard to make taking your shoes off easy as possible.
Neoprene is the perfect material to construct the MT500 overshoes from. Not only does it provide water and wind protection, but it also adds an insulating layer over your foot. This keeps your circulation going allowing you to ride for longer in comfort, whatever the weather.
Features:
- Tough nylon faced neoprene upper
- Offset rear zip with snap down puller and zip guard
- Molded rubber toe cap with treaded underside
- Asymmetric front seam for improved fit
- Hard wearing reinforced sole protects from rocks and pedals

Reviews
Amazing shoes for keeping warm and dry in mud season. I purchased these once seeing 2 inches of rain followed by 30F temps with 20MPH winds for this years Natchaug Epic gravel fondo in CT. Read great reviews and figured the Scots knew a thing or two about cold wet conditions. They are quite tight with the Large size barely fitting over a pair of 43 Fizik Terras, but nice and snug once zipped up. Unfortunately the zipper on the left boot failed when I first put them on but BikeTiresDirect sent a replacement the next day. Second pair had no issues.
Once on they protect your shoes well and are much sturdier than road booties. My cleats poke out enough to properly hike a bike and the rubber up front helps grip too.
On bike they do an amazing job isolation you from wind and water. Our route had icy puddles up to the pedals within the first 2 miles and while others had to swap socks out or complained of freezing toes I was fine over the course of a 5 hour ride. Never felt the wind and any water that may have splashed in the top didnt make an impact with wool socks underneath. When our group missed a turn and had to do an extended hike a bike i had no issues slipping on wet rocks.
Fantastic product and great support for BikeTiresDirect! Just be careful with sizing and putting them on.
Wow. After seasons and seasons of shoe covers ripping or pulling up over my toes after hike-a-bike situations, I finally found a pair that truly do what they're advertised to do — keep my feet dry and warm. One word of caution would be to size up because the rubber toe makes it difficult to pull the cover fully over the shoe. The zipper also can be difficult to fully close if the covers are too small. I wear a size 46 in Shimano, and I had to get the XL size. They fit perfectly.
I commute (about 50 minutes each way) in Wisconsin wearing these.
I wish these were a little more wind resistant, but when the temperature is over 20 F, these work great. When the weather is colder, I wear heated sock under them.
The fit and durability are excellent. Size L fits snugly over my size 42.5 shoes. The rubber toes, bottom and heal are strong and durable. The zipper works well as long as I pull the edged close before I pull the zipper shut.
I've tried a lot of other shoe covers and ended up with broken zippers, worn out velcro or just torn covers. These are great! I bought them on sale, but even at the regular price, these are a good value.
