Warming gloves with finger freedom

The hands are the first thing to get cold, no matter what when I ride. I can't shift Di2 with battery powered gloves on. I can with these, and every other (many) glove has failed in one way or another. Most are too bulky and have the inner and outer layers unattached causing slipping on the bars, not to mention being impossible to put back on with even minimal moisture in them. These gloves looked really thick in photos but really aren't so much. They are tight in the wrist, but intentionally so as your jacket goes over quite well. Like everything Castelli the sizing is off, so size up - seriously. I'm a real sissy about my hands getting cold. 55 out and I'm wearing something on my hands. I don't have a problem riding now in the 30's in our Montana WIND with these gloves. Having a KIKR, going out in the 20's lost its appeal....

Excellent down to 30 degrees

First pair of Castelli gloves. I have used several other major brands. I've been riding for 20+ years and these gloves actually do work your iphone and keep your hands warm. I have used these gloves in light rain, wind, cold down to 30. I use sram, but think they would work fine with Di2(old bike had Di2) 4.5 stars since the gloves are narrow across the hand. I returned the M for the L, since the medium was too tight on width when grabbing the bars.

Perfetto Max Gloves

These are good, they will stop the wind. They are not for very cold riding as advertized. I thought my fingers would be kept warm in winter riding but I find it hardly true. I also think its extremely hard to operate a cellphone even with the touch pads of the gloves. I think I'd skip on these for winter riding. I would get the perfetto for moderately cool weather and something more insulating than these for wi.ter riding. What that is, I'm not sure just yet!

Almost Perfetto gloves

I don't use these gloves much below 40 degrees, but my fingers run cold with any gloves. As mentioned they fit snugly so you may want to go larger on the sizing. They are comfortable on my road bars. My only beef is that they don't have a terry cloth patch on the back of the thumb area.

Warm, breathable

Use this in mid 40s to mid 30s and it keeps my hands warm and not over moist. Great!

Close to perfetto

I like everything about this glove with the exception of the gel padding at the base of the palm. I'm hyper sensitive to position changes and the padding makes it so my wrists are taken out of their neutral position. Otherwise the gloves feel really good and are plenty warm for 32 to 40 degrees.

Warm, well fitting gloves, good down to about 40F.

I bought these gloves for winter riding in Eugene, OR, where I also needed them to be warm and rain proof. I have used these all winter at temperatures down to about 40F with no problems. They fit well, with not a lot of bulk, and are pretty warm. So far, they seem quite durable. Above 50-55F, these might be too warm. More padding in the palm would be nice, but it's not a deal breaker by any means.

Perfect gloves for winter rides

This is the perfect gloves for winter rides with temperature around 30s. It's warm, snugged fit and not bulky. I have tried multiple gloves and this is the one for my cold weather rides.

Nice non-bulky winter glove

I generally only ride in temps above 42 F. I'm 54, and have the large sized glove. They are snug but comfortable. I've done two rides. At above 46 F these can be a little warm, especially if you're climbing. If I'm just cruising on the flats there great. I do a mix of road, gravel and MTB. In the winter months I tend to do more gravel/MTB. I wore these on a climb and my hands got pretty hot and sweaty. Nice to have options though. I seem to have a plethora of gloves these days! Love Castelli gear, especially for cold-weather riding.

Gear warmth for near freezing temperatures

I really like this as it is a longer glove that goes deeper on my wrist. It doesn't feel like it is warm but the breatheability shines when you work up a sweat. My hands stay warmer in this than another "wind proof" glove. It is harder to operate my garmin watch with this on but the extra protection leaves no gaps. The only other downside is that the labels in the glove are scratchy even after I tried to trim off as much as possible - can likely fix with rounding off of the labels. Overall, excellent and does its job.

Hands Down A Great Glove

I started wearing these in the late fall riding season. Super warm. Easy on / easy off. Nice snug fit. Gripping surfaces on fingers and inside hand area make for solid gripping. If you were to add a light glove liner, I feel you could easily use these gloves to beat temperatures in the teens.
