The Castelli Men's Fly Direct Jacket features lightweight FLY construction with Polartec® Alpha® Direct insulation to create a warm winter jacket that is packable for variable conditions and long bike adventures.
Its lightweight overall construction means that if the temperature changes it can be easily stashed in a pocket or frame bag. To create this piece, Castelli start with an ultralightweight windproof shell that is DWR treated in case you encounter wet roads or a quick rain shower. Then they pair the shell with Polartec® Alpha® Direct insulation, which is unbelievably warm and breathable for its weight.
On the front they use a top- and bottom-opening YKK® Vislon® zipper that is easy sliding for convenient temperature regulation if the intensity starts to tick up. On the back are three pockets for storage to make sure you can carry whatever you might need. Finally, they add reflectivity at the waist and wrists for visibility.

Got this jacket for 40*F - 50*F rides, I tend to ride hot so I wanted something that would keep me warm during chiller days but not so bulky that I have to wear it all the time. Its light weight, but has enough fluff to it to keep you warmer than just a wind breaker. I got a large and while its a snug fit it still works for me. May have gone with a XL but L still works.
