The Brooks C15 Cambium Carved All Weather bucks the trend of Brooks historic saddle design, made instead of vulcanized natural rubber and organic cotton canvas with a waterproof coating. The Brooks Cambium C15 Carved All Weather Saddle is perfect for anyone who's ever wanted to try a Brooks but been put off by the break-in period and the maintenance involved.
You'll never have to condition, tension, or break in this saddle right from the get-go, it's ready to go the distance. And with this All Weather version, the C15 Carved is ready for a lifetime of riding. Brooks saddles have been preferred by long-distance bike tourists and endurance riders for generations, so when we say go the distance, we mean it.
The C15 is modeled for sport and race rider, much like the B15 Swallow, with a narrow profile and lighter weight. The uniquely flexible rubber construction is durable, maintenance-free, and instantly comfortable. This Carved version adds a cutout to the top to help relieve pressure on the perineum for further comfort and shock absorption.
Weatherproof.
Weatherproof nylon cover blocks out rain, snow, or snow. Die-cast aluminum structure. Tubular stainless steel rails feature a fiberglass backplate with loops for mounting saddlebags or lights. Assembled from replaceable parts with no special tools required for servicing, the saddle's frame can be repaired in the event of an accident. This Carved version adds a cutout to the top to help relieve pressure on the perineum for further comfort and shock absorption. Just like Brooks' classic leather saddles, the Cambium is made for life.

I put this saddle on my steel Bianchi which I use for exploring back roads and the occasional gravel around NE CT. I liked it immediately but the more I use it the more I appreciate its virtues. The material has just enough flex to soak up some of the road roughness. I like the narrow shape as I have experienced no inner thigh chafing as I have on some other saddles. It feels secure, is waterproof and looks fantastic. What's not to like?!
Added one of these to my MTB, and it has been a game changer. Super durable, comfortable on rides of all lengths, and dramatic pressure relief in perineal area - particularly welcome on hard hits and unexpected drops. I've used leather Brooks saddles for years, but this one might be my favorite.
I bought this saddle for my new gravel bike and love it! I have the C17 on another bike, rode that one for one month in southern Africa, and it was very comfortable under difficult riding conditions. I find the C15 even better. It's firm and comfortable, light, and as narrow as any other saddle I've used. I find the the slightly rounded seat surface to be more comfortable than the usual flat surface on most light weight road saddles.
And the price when on sale with Bike Tires Direct made it impossible to pass up!
I had heard Brooks were the way to go, so I jumped at the deal when it came up around Christmas. A Gift to my backside, I thought. Once I received it, I was skeptical at first, it didn't seem much different than my stock Bontrager saddle. But almost instantly, I noticed how much better I felt after rides. 1 month in (~350 miles) and I no longer feel any discomfort. I highly recommend if you are looking for an upgrade.
Quality and build are excellent. Very happy with it. Fits me perfectly. Don't get particularly sore even when not wearing bike shorts. Friends have tried it and genuinely hate it, so make sure its the right size/cut/shape for you.
I used Brooks C17 Carved on my fat bike and my road bike. I can't imagine a better more comfortable saddle for my fat bike. However not on my road bike. I switched to C15 and found it much better.??
Great for under 20 miles, but a far cry from a Brooks LEATHER saddle (which I can't/won't leave out in rain). Saddle seems super durable and flexible without any significant pressure points. Again, very comfortable on short rides, but on longer or hot weather rides, it can start to feel like the wood and rubber coating it is made of.
Saddles are a very personal thing and obviously will vary greatly from person to person. This is a very flexible saddle, seems to be designed as more of a hammock than a saddle. When you sit on it, it conforms to your sit-bones area and sags deeply in the center. I had to raise my seatpost up 1/2 to 5/8 to match where my Selle Italia saddle was. My first ride felt like a standard saddle that was about 2/3 broke in, but then it never got any better... the sag makes it difficult (painful) to sit up and ride when I get tired and need a break. I'm 5' 9 and 177 lbs and ride Trek Madone 5.9 230 milesweek. I've got over 2,500 miles on this saddle so far. I probably won't buy another one.
Picked up the Brooks C15 to replace the now craptastic saddle on my mountain bike. What a difference. Out of the box comfort, no saddle rail creaks, comfortable and just the right width, and seems far more durable as well. Plus the extended warranty is a bonus for me. I plan to put some longer miles on this and decide if the C15 will start replacing the rest of the saddles in my fleet.
I do a lot of long distance rides and this saddle is made for comfort. i even have one on the bike I use on my indoor trainer! It is made of very tough but comfortable material.
Had wanted to try a Brooks saddle for years. I ride in all weather so went with the Italian-made cambium. The first ride (mixed trail and road) proved the Brooks to be not only comfortable but also inspiring confidence and a feeling of connection to the bike. It provides flex without cushiness. I really appreciate that.
