For the past several seasons, Assos has been testing their jacket-proven NEOS softshells as worthy bootie textiles — knowing their waterproof, flexible, and breathable properties would also be favorable in a complementing overshoe. From these trials, the ASSOSOIRES GT Winter Booties were born.
The GT Winter Booties use the same membrane-backed NEOS material as winterproof jackets, keeping your feet and ankles fully protected in cold winter conditions. NEOS Medium is the primary textile used, as its 3L softshell with PU bonded membrane breathes, blocks wind and water, and adds big doses of insulation where you need it most. Featuring a reverse Camlock zipper and raw-cut zeroCuff edge to further the aerodynamic profile.
Since they were engineered to be layered over your shoes in most winter conditions, the Assos GT Winter booties are perfect for your chilly rides. Pair them with the Winter Socks for complete comfort in a colder climate.

Reviews
Wish I could tell you how well these booties work, but I could not muscle them over my cycling shoes. The sizing guide for this product is comically misguided. I bought the largest size, which is allegedly able to fit shoe sizes 10-13 US. I wear a size 12. Tried to slip the booties over my shoes, but there is NO WAY they would fit. I was afraid I was going to tear a seam while trying to brute force them on. Back to BTD they go. I'm not sure you should trust the sizing guide Assos provides for this product.
As expected from Assos, impeccable design, materials, and sewing. "Winter" is a subjective term in cycling clothes I suppose. These have been perfect for spring rides in Colorado. Temps from mid-30's through mid-50's.
