The Classic Cycling Sock, Improved
The Assos Assoires GT Sock is a classic cycling sock, updated with functional technology for cooling and support and a slightly longer cuff for a clean, crisp aesthetic.
A piece of cycling equipment is effective when it does its job so well that you forget about it. Like their predecessors, the latest GT Socks embody that ethos, pulling moisture, resisting odor, and providing a light wrap of support across the metatarsals, arch, and ankle. The GT sock is updated with new materials, improved ventilation, and a cuff height of 16cm.

Reviews
I generally like the feel and comfort of Assos gear, and these socks are what I expected. Nice and stretchy making them easy to get on and off. Comfortable and stay dry. They are summer socks so nothing special.
Hundreds of bike miles both road and off road, all seasons and all conditions. These socks fit incredibly well, as expected, and wick moisture away from skin and they never feel clammy. Long rides, every ride and day after day Assos socks are the way to go.
They were on sale so I thought I'd get a pair. I really like my ASSOS bibs, so much so that I'm inclined to give any of their products a try. They're nice cycling socks, but in the end they're just socks. Will I buy more? When I need socks, and if they're on sale, sure. But if you're looking for the be-all and end-all of socks.... well they're just socks.
I just finished an all-day ride on a fairly warm day and these socks were fantastic. Great quality and great fit. I am a size 9 and got the "I" size, but I prefer tighter socks for cycling.
I have had socks from a number of brands, recently shifting from another major brand that had serious quality issues to these Assos GT socks. I now have 4-5 pairs of them in different colors. I find them to be the perfect weight for spring-fall riding, a reasonable height, have good compression, and are comfortable. I also like the look of them: They are plain, yet have the asymmetric band along the top which is just enough to take plain from boring to subtly cool. I have had an issue with the lettering on the top of the foot showing loose threads after a wash, but I trimmed the threads back and the socks have been going strong (6+ months) since without any issue.
