Reviews
No more changing shoes on my e-bike commutes. I decided carrying light casual shoes in my pannier bag and switching from road cleated shoes (Look Keo) to them upon arrival was perhaps more hassle than it was worth. The Adidas Velosamba was my choice and they've worked pretty well so far. The lacing was weird, but I've since learned that this allows for tucking the laces (once tied) under the little elastic band on the top of the shoe. I am not used to spd cleat, but I chose Crank Bros and once I got them adjusted to my satisfaction, pedaling is more comfortable than on the first few rides. I find that walking in them is just okay - they tend to allow the cleat to make slight contact with the surface of whatever I'm walking on, so in the case of sidewalk or pavement the cleat is getting ground down.
Overall, I'm pleased with these shoes. They look cool and they feel okay pedaling and walking. So, it's what I was looking for.
